"The Veil of Dimensions: Day and Night"

This pair of paintings, created as a diptych to be experienced together, invites the viewer to explore the delicate interplay between existence, perception, and the unseen. Each canvas, one glowing with golden hues of the sun and the other enveloped in the serene blues of the moonlit night, represents the duality of our universe, light and darkness, day and night, presence and absence.
At the heart of each piece lies a central square, surrounded by a contrasting border. This deliberate division evokes the concept of windows, offering glimpses into dimensions beyond our immediate perception. From afar, the paintings appear as portals, two openings into parallel worlds. However, as one approaches, the layers of acrylic paint, vibrant sprays, and intricate collages invite deeper contemplation. These windows seem to blur the line between what is visible and what lies hidden beyond the boundaries of our sight.
The inspiration behind this work stems from a profound philosophical inquiry: does matter exist only because we observe it? What happens to what we cannot see—does it cease to exist, or does it simply remain beyond our grasp? These paintings explore this ephemeral relationship between vision and reality, asking us to confront the limits of our understanding and to embrace the infinite mystery of the unseen.
Both paintings measure approximately 80 cm by 1.20 m. They are designed to be experienced side by side, as a dialogue between the visible and invisible, day and night, observer and observed.
"The Veil of Dimensions" is not just a visual experience but an emotional one, an exploration of our role as witnesses to reality. It asks us to pause, to reflect, and to wonder at the vastness of existence beyond our immediate perception. Together, these works become a meditation on presence, absence, and the infinite possibilities that lie just beyond the veil.
