"The Vessel"

In this 80x80 cm canvas, spray paint and acrylic come together to shape an ancestral and transcendental concept. Inspired by the Marajoara culture, which believes that vessels can contain souls, the artist reinterprets this idea, suggesting that our own body is a container for the spirit. The large eye emerging from the vessel symbolizes the consciousness that inhabits this matter, observing and navigating between two planes of existence.

In the background, two circles represent these dimensions: the physical world, in black and white, like a chessboard where logic and rules dominate; and the divine world, marked by sacred geometry, where spirituality and the unseen manifest. The artwork invites reflection on the duality of life and the connection between the tangible and the ethereal, encouraging the viewer to question their own existence and the limits of perception.

O grande olho emergindo do vaso simboliza a consciência que habita essa matéria, observando e navegando entre dois planos de existência.

Ao fundo, dois círculos representam essas dimensões: o mundo físico, em preto e branco, como um tabuleiro de xadrez onde a lógica e as regras dominam; e o mundo divino, marcado pela geometria sagrada, onde a espiritualidade e o invisível se manifestam.
